Sports for kids in Cadillac

CADILLAC ALL SPORTS ASSOCIATION (CASA)

The Cadillac All Sports Association (CASA) is a youth sports program for students and/or residents of the Cadillac Area Public Schools district. Although CASA falls under the general umbrella of the Cadillac Community Schools Programs, CASA is not supported or controlled by either the Community Schools or Cadillac Area Public Schools. CASA is a volunteer organization that is controlled by an executive board that manages its programs and raises the operational funds through sponsor's fees, concession stand operation, player registration fees, and the sale of various items by each of the CASA teams.

The philosophy of CASA is that all boys and girls should have the opportunity to participate in a youth sports recreational program on organized teams that are coached by volunteer adults. All participants are assigned to teams by an adult committee and all participants must play a certain portion of each game regardless of ability. No "all star" teams are chosen and no play-off games are allowed under the by-laws of the organization.
